Czech this girl out!
Hayden Hane just got back from her epic adventure in Prague. She was full of tips and fun stories as she arrived back at TCU.
One of the things that stood out to me when she told be about abroad was that she bought a post card at every new place she went and wrote a memory on the back of it. Doing this allowed her to go back and look at each place she’s been and remember what made it so exciting. This was especially useful when she came back to a house full of friends and got a million questions about the places she traveled.
When I asked Hayden what her favorite place she visited was, she said, “Ireland was amazing and everyone has to go to the Cliffs of Moher once in their life, but I am biased in saying Prague is hands down my favorite place to be”. (looks like I’m visiting Prague)
When it came to packing she was insistent on not over packing. “Bring less that you think” is what Hayden told me as she heavily regretted overpacking and ended up not wearing half the things she brought. As someone who always over packs, this was great advice and I have some re-packing to do before I head out.
Hayden also told me how meeting new people was the best part of being in Prague. She went to the Czech Republic not knowing anyone and came back five months later with many memories and new friends from all over.
Hayden was the brave guinea pig of the TCU junior class by being the first to go abroad in the fall semester. Now she has all the spring semester abroad students asking a million questions because she’s the pro. So if you’re going abroad and need someone to talk to, Give her a call!
